Hans-Peter Fischer has more than 25 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry. Mr. Fischer’s distinguished career has been dedicated to cybersecurity strategy and framework development, with a focus on advanced cybersecurity defence, technical security assessments, threat analysis, identity and access management and regulatory compliance.
Mr. Fischer leads FTI Consulting’s Cybersecurity practice in Germany, advising clients on issues related to cybersecurity readiness and incident response, including compliance roadmaps for upcoming regulations, penetration testing and maturity assessments for portfolio companies.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Fischer was a partner in the cybersecurity practice at a Big Four firm. In this role, he assumed responsibility for overseeing and driving large-scale security transformation projects. Notably, he spearheaded efforts to harness the potential of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (“AI”) and quantum computing, evaluating their profound implications for cybersecurity strategies. Furthermore, he played a key role in formulating the firm’s automotive security framework and provided invaluable expertise on cybersecurity aspects of mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”).
Prior to joining the Big Four firm, Mr. Fischer founded p3 Consulting in 2003, where he served as CEO until orchestrating its successful sale in 2014.
