First and foremost I would like to thank you for wanting to know who this Stefan Schmugge is and what he really does! And let me be totally open with you: I am not here to sell you something. I am here for an open and honest exchange, share knowledge and have some fun!

I am currently working as a Director of Sales Engineering for Rubrik in Germany. During the day, I lead a team technology presales professionals covering the northern private and the public customer space that provide advisory to help customers setup, optimize and manage their zero trust data security strategy. Before that I was working in various roles in Presales, Sales, Presales Mgmt and Sales Mgmt and have a proven successful track record in all of them.

Besides (and even inside) my job my first passion is to mentor and coach people in areas like career planning, presentation skills, branding, negotiation, marketing, networking and even more: my day is made when we learned something new! My second passion is being an investor and a stage person as moderator/host, keynote speaker, interviewer and podcast host.

During the rest of my time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, love music, good food, keep fit and humble with Crossfit and I have a weakness for chocolate and technology gadgets.
